What to Expect

We try to make the church as inviting for everyone as we can.  Here are some things you can expect from a service at Awaken.

TEACHING

God’s Word is living and active, and we teach it as such. Teaching expositionally through the Bible, Pastor Kevin exposes the truth of God's Word in a passionate, culturally relevant way.

KIDS

We go out of our way to show kids God’s love in a caring, hands-on environment, enabling the adults to focus on the study and application of God’s Word. Check-in for kids ages 6 weeks through 5th grade begins 15 minutes before each service.

STUDENTS

Middle and high school students enjoy worshiping, serving, and studying God's Word along with the adults. Awaken Students meets weekly during each school semester, giving students an opportunity to meet with other students their age as well as Godly leaders.

VENUES

In order to double our seating capacity at each service, Pastor Kevin teaches live in the North Venue and live via HD video in the South Venue. Both venues are conveniently located at our Riverside campus, and feature all aspects of each worship experience.

WORSHIP

Worship is high-energy and upbeat with full bands most weekends. We believe that our worship should be alive since the God we worship is alive.

SMALL GROUPS

Awaken Groups meet weekly throughout Clarksville, Charlotte and Hopkinsville in 13-week semesters. The format is laid back and discussion-driven based on the previous Sunday’s message.

GIVING

Souls are the best way to invest. We do not pass an offering plate, but we provide boxes around the church for giving and prayer requests. You can also give securely online, through our mobile app and via text message.

CHURCH

Since God focuses on your heart, not your hair, we make that our main concern as well. Wear something modest and comfortable and come ready to worship and dig into God’s Word.
